Data we collect
- Account details such as your name, email address, password hash, and organization information.
- Business content you enter into Opero, including customers, leads, estimates, invoices, tasks, notes, and related activity.
- Billing and subscription data handled through Stripe, such as customer IDs, subscription status, and payment status.
- Operational data such as login sessions, device and browser information, error logs, and backups used to keep the service running.
How we use data
- To provide the product, authenticate users, and keep your workspace organized.
- To process billing, manage subscriptions, and support founder or pilot access.
- To send operational emails such as invoices, reminders, onboarding messages, and account notices.
- To improve reliability, troubleshoot issues, and protect against abuse or unauthorized access.
Cookies, sessions, and login persistence
Opero uses essential cookies and session storage to keep you signed in, remember your organization, and support secure login persistence across visits. We also use operational tokens and similar technical mechanisms to keep the app functional on desktop and mobile.
If analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated to describe the tools used and the choices available to you.
Payments and Stripe
When you subscribe or update billing details, payment information is processed by Stripe. Opero receives subscription and billing status information needed to manage access, founder pricing, renewals, cancellations, and billing failures. We do not store full card numbers in Opero.
Email communications
Opero sends service emails such as onboarding messages, estimate notifications, invoice notices, reminders, and subscription updates. We may keep email logs so we can confirm delivery, retry failed sends, and help with support requests.
Backups and security
We use automated backups to protect operational data and help with restore safety. Access to the production system is limited, and we use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we aim to keep Opero stable and carefully managed.
Sharing and service providers
- We may share limited data with providers that help run Opero, such as hosting, email, payment processing, and security vendors.
- We do not sell your business data.
- We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent abuse or fraud.
Your choices
- You can update your workspace information and business records inside the app.
- You can cancel subscriptions through billing settings or the billing portal when available.
- You can contact us to request help with access, correction, or deletion of account-related information, subject to legal and operational requirements.
