Getting Started

Getting started with Opero

Start with the dashboard, learn the sidebar, and use the clickable KPI cards to jump straight into the work that matters.

1

Know the dashboard

The dashboard shows the current state of the business, and the KPI cards jump you into the matching filtered section.

2

Learn the sidebar

Use the sidebar to move between Leads, Customers, Estimates, Invoices, Payments, Tasks, and Settings without losing your place.

3

Use the global search

Search customers, invoices, estimates, tasks, and notes from the top bar when you want to jump directly to a record.

4

Keep the business profile current

Set the business name, industry, contact details, and short description so Opero can tailor labels, email drafts, and workflows.

5

Start with a lead or customer

Add the first lead or customer record so you can move from first contact to a real workflow immediately.

6

Track work as you go

Tasks, lead activity, and email history keep the next move obvious while you work the day.

Core Workflows

Core workflows inside Opero

These are the pieces most people use every day: lead management, email setup, outreach, history, pipeline work, tasks, customers, estimates, invoices, and dashboard shortcuts.

Leads

Sort, filter, and work the next opportunity.

Use statuses like New, Contacted, Demo Scheduled, Qualified, Won, and Lost to keep the lead list focused.

Email Setup / SMTP

Connect your business email account.

Go to Settings → Email Settings, enter SMTP host, port, username, password, sender name, sender email, and reply-to, then run Test Connection.

Email Outreach

Generate and send outreach from Opero.

Generate Outreach Email or Follow-Up Email, review and edit it, then send through SMTP or open your mail client if SMTP is not connected.

Sender Copies

Keep a hidden copy for the sender.

When enabled, Opero automatically BCCs the sender email on outreach messages for verification and record keeping. You can turn it off in Email Settings.

Lead Capture

Collect website leads directly into Opero.

Settings → Lead Capture gives you a public embed key, a copyable widget snippet, and optional notification emails for new submissions.

Email History

See every outbound email in one place.

Each lead shows sent and failed emails, recipient, subject, type, status, and future-ready engagement badges when tracking data exists.

Work My Pipeline

Let Opero choose the next revenue action.

Start with the selected lead if one is open, otherwise let Opero pull the highest-priority lead, then send, skip, schedule, or convert.

Founder Program

Lock in founder pricing before public launch.

Founder spots are limited, and the upgrade modal explains the $29/mo lifetime plan, the Lead Radar trial, and the priority support benefits.

Billing & Founder Access

Manage pricing, checkout, and current plan status.

Settings → Billing shows the Stripe founder checkout URL, founder spot counters, and the active Pilot or Founder status in one place.

Onboarding Wizard

Set up the workspace step by step.

New organizations see a guided setup for business profile, SMTP, lead capture, notifications, and the first lead before they hit the dashboard.

Tasks

Track follow-ups and deadlines.

Use open, due today, due this week, overdue, completed, and follow-up filters to stay organized.

Customers

Keep customer records linked to the work.

Customer details stay connected to tasks, activity, estimates, and invoices so the history never gets lost.

Estimates & Invoices

Create quotes and billing records.

Build estimates, convert approved work into invoices, and track paid, unpaid, and overdue status from the same workspace.

Dashboard

Use KPI cards as shortcuts.

Clickable dashboard cards jump into the right filtered section, so you can move from the overview straight into action.

Mobile Settings

Use the gear icon to reach settings quickly.

On mobile, the top-right gear and profile menu keep Email, Lead Capture, Billing, and Account settings within easy reach.

Launch Ready

Everything needed before marketing goes live

Opero’s pre-marketing launch flow keeps the founder offer clear, the workspace set up, and the account ready for the first paying customers.

Founder Offer

Only 25 businesses get founder pricing.

The founding member program explains the $29/mo lifetime plan, 90 days of Lead Radar, and the locked-in pricing protection.

Lead Capture

Capture website leads directly into Opero.

Customers can paste the embed code into their site, then control notifications and lead routing from Settings → Lead Capture.

Launch Checklist

Confirm the key launch items in one place.

Business profile, email, lead capture, notification email, founder checkout URL, first lead, and outreach activity all show up in the readiness checklist.

Work My Pipeline

A simple guided outreach workflow

Use the guided pipeline to keep momentum. Opero starts with the selected lead when one is open, otherwise it begins with the highest-priority lead that needs attention.
